#26 ⏱ Time Grid Chart in Qlik Sense
Wanna create a Grid Chart in #Qlik Sense ? Just hack the Scatter Plot chart ! 👨💻
In a recent post Patrick Tehubijuluw used an extension to represent his playlist as a Time Grid https://bit.ly/3aYpW7w Why an extension ? Because we don't have a Grid chart in Qlik Sense as in QlikView.
I find this visualisation interesting and wondered how I could achieve that with only built in Qlik Sense features

To understand you have to figure the difference between Grid and Scatter Chart
Grid Chart :
2 dimensions for axis & 1 measure for plots
Scatter Chart :
1 dimensions for plots & 2 measures for axis
In the dimension, concatenate your two dimensionals field. In my case : ="WeekDay"&'-'&"Hour"
Create numerical field for your 2 dimensions and use avg() on them for the two measures.
